Uashat-Maliotenam

Uashat-Maliotenam (or Innu Takuaikan Uashat Mak Mani-Utenam in Innu-aimun) is an Innu reserve in the Canadian province of Quebec. The reserve consists of two distinct settlements, Uashat and Maliotenam, located near the city of Sept-Îles. In the Canada 2011 Census, Uashat had a population of 1,485 and Maliotenam had a population of 1,316. Approximately 700 additional members of the Uashat-Maliotenam band live outside of the communities, predominantly in Sept-Îles.

Although the two communities are not contiguous to each other, being located at opposite ends of Sept-Îles, they are governed as a single political entity. Uashat is located immediately adjacent to the urban core of Sept-Îles, while Maliotenam is located adjacent to the more rural neighbourhood of De Grasse, east of the Sept-Îles Airport. Both communities have road access via Route 138.
