What is "two-ball"

Two-ball is a game often played by baseball teams, designed to improve quickness, hand–eye coordination, and sharpen focus. It can be played with any number of players. The basic idea is that everyone stands in a circle. Two baseballs are tossed between the players. Each player gets three outs. An out is awarded for a bad throw or a missed catch. A player who records three outs must step out of the circle. The winner of the game is the last player remaining in the circle. Two-ball was created in Indianapolis, Indiana by the Bishop Chatard High School baseball team sometime in the late 1980s.

Two-ball (or twoball, 2-ball, 2 ball and other variant spellings) may refer to:

• Two-ball, a practice game played by baseball teams, with player in a circle rapidly passing two balls back and forth across the ring attempting to get others players to fail to catch or to pass poor and thus be "out"
• 2 ball, the pool (pocket billiards) ball numbered "2" and colored blue
• 2 ball, the yellow snooker ball, worth 2 points, normally referred to as "the yellow"
• 2-ball, a two-dimensional -ball in mathematics, represented by a circle (disc)
