What is "trollsletta"

Trollsletta ("The Troll Plain") is a coastal plain of Jan Mayen. It has a length of about 1,400 meters, and is located on the southern side of the island, inside the southwestern part of the bay Rekvedbukta, between Båtvika and Helenesanden. The only settlement of Jan Mayen, Olonkinbyen, is located at Trollsletta. The coast consists of low and splintered cliffs.
