Trichocosmia
Trichocosmia is a genus of moths of the Noctuidae family. It contains only one species, Trichocosmia inornata, which is found from Texas to California, north to Utah.
The wingspan is about 25 mm. Adults are pale tan-ochre with faint transverse markings and a faint reniform spot. The frons is slightly rounded out. They are on wing from March to July in California.
