Training day

Training \Train"ing\, n. The act of one who trains; the act or process of exercising, disciplining, etc.; education.

Training Day

Training Day is a 2001 American crime thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua, written by David Ayer, and starring Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke. The story follows two LAPD narcotics officers over a 24-hour period in the gang-ridden neighborhoods of the LAPD Rampart Division and South Central Los Angeles.

The film was a box office success and earned mostly positive critical appraisal. Washington's performance as a corrupt cop, Detective Alonzo Harris, a departure from his usual roles, was particularly praised and earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor at the 74th Academy Awards. His co-star Ethan Hawke was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as rookie cop, Officer Jake Hoyt.

Training Day (soundtrack)

Training Day: The Soundtrack is the soundtrack to the 2001 crime film, Training Day. It was released on September 11, 2001, through Priority Records and contained mostly hip hop music. The album did fairly well on the Billboard charts, peaking at number 35 on the Billboard 200, number 19 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and number 3 on the Top Soundtracks chart, and spawning two hit singles, " #1" by Nelly and " Put It on Me" by Dr. Dre, DJ Quik and Mimi. The soundtrack was A&R'd by Chuck Wilson.

Training Day (Archer)

"Training Day" is the second episode of the animated comedy Archer. It was written by Archer creator and co- executive producer, Adam Reed, and directed by Mack Williams. In the episode, Archer's mother Malory assigns her son the task of training Cyril to be an agent. Meanwhile, secretary Cheryl and human resources representative Pam take advantage of Malory being temporarily blinded by an allergic reaction.

"Training Day" was produced at Floyd County Productions and animated at Radical Axis studio in Atlanta, over the course of approximately one month. FX had initially planned on airing the series alongside the fifth season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in 2009, but production constraints led to it being pushed back to January 2010. The episode features cultural references to the films Rain Man and James Bond, and stand-up comedian and actor Dane Cook. In its original broadcast, the episode was met with 1.8 million viewers and positive reviews.

Training Day is the second album by North Carolina hip hop duo The Away Team, was released in 2007 on the Hall of Justus label, featuring contributions from unofficial third member Nervous Reck, Evidence (of Dilated Peoples), Sean Price, Black Milk, Supastition and Darien Brockington.

"Training Day" is the twentieth episode of the seventh season of the American comedy television series The Office and the shows 146th episode overall. It originally aired on NBC on April 14, 2011. The episode was written by Daniel Chun and directed by Paul Lieberstein. This episode marks the first appearance of Deangelo Vickers ( Will Ferrell) in the series.

The series depicts the everyday lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. In the episode, Michael Scott's ( Steve Carell) replacement appears in the office, to start receiving training from Michael. The new manager, Deangelo Vickers ( Will Ferrell), has everyone hoping to make good first impressions: Andy Bernard ( Ed Helms) finds himself awkwardly typecast while Jim Halpert ( John Krasinski) and Pam Halpert ( Jenna Fischer) worry that they've come on too strong. Only Dwight Schrute ( Rainn Wilson) is apathetic about the new leader.

"Training Day" received mixed reviews from television critics, with many commenting on Ferrell's appearance. The episode was also viewed by 4.16 million viewers and received a 4.0/11 percent rating among adults between the ages of 18 and 49, ranking first in its timeslot. The episode ultimately ranked as the highest-rated NBC series of the night.
