Toubkal
Toubkal or Tubkal ( Berber: ⵜⵓⴱⴽⴰⵍ, Tubkal, or ⵜⵓⴱⵇⴰⵍ, Tubqal; ) is a mountain peak in southwestern Morocco, located in the Toubkal National Park. At , it is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains and in North Africa. It is an ultra prominent peak located 63 km south of the city of Marrakesh, and is a popular destination for climbers.
Toubkal (commune)
Toubkal is a small town and rural commune in Taroudant Province of the Souss-Massa-Drâa region of Morocco. At the time of the 2004 census, the commune had a total population of 9119 people living in 1326 households.
