Topmodel (Belgian TV series)

Topmodel is a Flemish reality television show which pits contestants against each other in a variety of competitions to determine who will win a modeling contract with Dominique Models. Belgian model Ingrid Seynhaeve hosts the show, which is based on the top-rating series America's Next Top Model with Tyra Banks.

The debut season of the show premiered on KanaalTwee in October 2007. On it, 10 female contestants were placed in an apartment. Spanning a wide variety of women of various races, heights and body sizes, they had been whittled down from a pool of thousands to compete against one another in various contests designed to simulate the extreme demands placed on professional models. Each week one contestant was eliminated by a panel of judges: Ingrid Seynhaeve herself, fashion expert Ghislaine Nuytten, model Elise Crombez and Monique Vanendert, photographer. Coaches are Lieve Gerrits who's a stylist, Aza Declercq as acting coach and Vasko Todorof, make up artist.

The second season premiered one year after the start of season 1 in October 2008 on new network 2BE. An Lemmens replaced Ingrid Seynhaeve as the host of the show. The jury consisted of Marc Douchez from Dominique Models, visagist Rudi Cremers, fashion journalist Els De Pauw, Pascale Belden and again Ghislaine Nuytten, now as the head of the panel of judges. The cast was increased from 10 to 12.

Topmodel (cycle 2)

Topmodel (cycle 2) was the second cycle of the reality series Topmodel hosted by An Lemmens. This is the first season to be aired on 2BE network. The show features twelve contestants. The winner of this cycle, similar to the previous cycle, will win management and representation by Dominic Models, a campaign for L'Oréal cosmetics, and the cover on Glam-it magazine. The show is hosted by An Lemmers but it is Ghislaine Nuytten who is the head of the search and is calling out the girls onto the next round at judging panel and from episode 5 on the two girls placed in the bottom two are officially nominated for elimination with Marc Douchez having the final say on who goes home and who stays.

Topmodel (cycle 1)

Topmodel, cycle 1 was the first cycle of the reality series Topmodel hosted by Ingrid Seynhaeve. Ten contestants lived together in a luxurious apartment until the top four travelled to New York for the rest of the cycle.

In contrast to America's Next Top Model, the host was not part of the judging panel. Ghislaine Nuytten was the judging chairwoman and called out the girls onto the next round at the judging panel. The bottom two contestants were then officially nominated for elimination, with Marc Douchez from Dominique Models having the final say on who went home and who stayed.

The winner was Hanne Baekelandt, who won a €25,000 modeling contract for management and representation by Dominique Models, a campaign for L'Oréal cosmetics, and the cover on magazine.
