Tonbridge (pronunciation and historic spelling Tunbridge) is a market town in the English county of Kent, with a population of 38,657 in 2011. It is located on the River Medway, approximately north of Royal Tunbridge Wells, south west of Maidstone and south east of London. It belongs to the administrative borough of Tonbridge and Malling (population 120,805 in 2011).

There are several independent educational establishments in the town, including the prestigious Tonbridge School.

Tonbridge (UK Parliament constituency)

Tonbridge was a parliamentary constituency in Kent, centred on the town of Tonbridge. It returned one Member of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.

The constituency was created for the 1918 general election, replacing the previous Tunbridge constituency. It was abolished for the February 1974 general election, when it was replaced by the new Tonbridge and Malling constituency.
