Tolichowki (Telugu: టోలిచౌకి) (Urdu: ٹولی چوکی) is a major suburb in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The name Tolichowki comes from the Urdu word 'Toli', meaning 'troupe', and 'Chowki', meaning 'post'. During the period of Abul Hasan Tana Shah, the troops of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir set a military position in this region, which is in the vicinity of the Golkonda Fort of the Qutub Shahi kingdom. Still today, there are many historical mosques, tombs and other monuments in the surrounding areas. It is close to the IT corridor like Gachibowli, Madhapur, Manikonda and Kondapur, hence making it a preferred residential for people working in the IT industry. The real estate sector has received a boost due to its proximity to high end technology firms.

The area has seen significant growth in commercial activities. A number of banks including Darussalam Bank, UCO Bank, Andhra Bank, SBI are operating in the area. in Feb 2010 ICICI Bank is also starting operations in the area. Honda scooters has opened a sales and service center to cater to the growing demand of new generation 2 wheelers in the area. Maruti cars has also opened a service center in the neighbourhood.

Tolichowki houses residential colonies like Raghava colony, Mounted Division Lines (MD Lines), Yousuf Tekri (which includes landmark Yousuf Manzil), Hakeempet(New),Nizam Colony, Al-Hasnat Colony (it is also said there is a treasure hidden in this colony of al hasnath the diamonds golkonda is said to be hidden deep inside this colony), Janaki Nagar Colony, Meraj colony, Samata Colony, Azeez Bagh Colony, P&T colony, Surya Nagar Colony, Brindavan Colony, Minar Colony, etc.
