Tinitus was an annual alternative music festival focusing on the subgenres of alternative electronic music such as Industrial, EBM, Synthpop and Futurepop. The festival was based in Stockholm, Sweden with Münchenbryggeriet being the favoured location. It was traditionally held in November each year, however during 2009 the promoter and driving force behind the festival, Daniel Jonasson declared that he would be closing the festival doors for the last time to pursue other interests.
Tinitus was a metal show in Norway that was broadcast on Norwegian national radio, NRK P3 from 2000 to 2200 on Wednesday nights from 2005 to 2009. It showcased both Norwegian and international heavy metal talent and it was hosted by Kirsti Thisland Eggum and produced by Patrizia Mazzuoccolo.
