Timmins is a city in northeastern Ontario, Canada on the Mattagami River. At the time of the Canada 2011 Census, its population was 43,165. The city's economy is based on natural resource extraction and is supported by industries related to lumbering and to the mining of gold, zinc, copper, nickel, and silver. Timmins also serves as a regional service and distribution centre for Northeastern Ontario.

Timmins was a federal electoral district represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1949 to 1979. It was located around the city of Timmins in the northeastern part of the province of Ontario. This riding was created in 1947 from parts of Cochrane and Timiskaming ridings.
It consisted of portions of the territorial districts of Timiskaming and Cochrane.
The electoral district was abolished in 1976 when it was redistributed between Timiskaming and Timmins—Chapleau ridings.
