This Means War (Tank album)

This Means War is the third album by British heavy metal band Tank, released in 1983. On this album, the line-up expanded to a four-piece, with the addition of second guitarist Mick Tucker, former member of the NWOBHM band White Spirit. Thanks to Tucker's songwriting contributions and to the sound expanded by an extra guitar, the band changed their music in comparison with their previous albums with longer, more melodic compositions, which helped differentiate Tank from Motörhead, the band they were often compared to.

This Means War (Attack Attack! album)

This Means War is the third and final studio album by American metalcore band Attack Attack!. It was released on January 17, 2012 through Rise Records. Initially scheduled to be produced by John Feldmann (who previously produced tracks for the band's reissue of their self-titled album), production was instead handled by frontman Caleb Shomo in his home studio, making it the band's first album not to be produced by Joey Sturgis.

It is the only album to feature Caleb Shomo on both singing and screamed vocals, after the departure of former singer and rhythm guitarist Johnny Franck.

The album received generally mixed reviews from music critics, with some commending it as an improvement over the band's previous material, while others criticized its use of formula. It has since become the band's most commercial successful album to date, peaking at number 11 on the Billboard 200, selling more than 17,000 copies in its first week.

This Means War (Avenged Sevenfold song)

"This Means War" is the third single released from Hail to the King, the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold. The record was released on July 4, 2014 via Warner Bros. Records. This song was also featured in WWE 2K15.

Several sources and reviews of Hail to the King criticize "This Means War" for similarities to Metallica's 1993 single " Sad but True." The song was singled out by Machine Head's vocalist Robb Flynn as a ripoff. A music video was released mid-summer of 2014.
