ThinCats
ThinCats is an online peer-to-peer lending platform that allows investors to make loans directly to businesses. ThinCats focuses on secured loans, which helps protect a lenders investment in case a borrower fails to repay. Since its launch in 2011, ThinCats has facilitated over 670 loans providing funds of over £180 million to businesses. The UK based platform has over 5,000 members as of June 2016 and is part of the Peer-to-Peer Finance Association, the self-regulating industry body.
