Thermoelectric couple \Ther`mo*e*lec"tric couple\ or Thermoelectric pair \Ther`mo*e*lec"tric pair\ (Elec.) A union of two conductors, as bars or wires of dissimilar metals joined at their extremities, for producing a thermoelectric current.
