Tetramethylazodicarboxamide
Tetramethylazodicarboxamide (TMAD) is a reagent used in biochemistry for oxidation of thiols in proteins to disulfides. It has also been used as a reagent in the Mitsunobu reaction in place of diethyl azodicarboxylate.
