TEDxNMIMSBangalore is a university-level local, self-organized event named after the management institute NMIMS Bangalore where the x refers to an independently organized TED event. The event is aimed to bring people together to share a TED-like experience like any other TEDx event. TEDxNMIMSBangalore provides a platform that allows a great synergy of ideas worth spreading and its effective dissipation. It is not unusual for someone to share a TEDx video describing how it had inspired him or her and given them an altogether new perspective about something. In this sense, TEDx is a very powerful event, one that can have an everlasting impact on the audience and community at large. The objective of TEDxNMIMSBangalore is to provide an opportunity for such innovative and out-of-the-box ideas spread that can help bring about a positive change in the way we live, think and work.
To date, four TEDxNMIMSBangalore events have been organized successfully. These have been themed as:
