''' Tarkint ''' is village and commune in the Cercle of Bourem in the Gao Region of south-eastern Mali. The village is northeast of Bourem and from Gao. The commune extends for 23,000 km and includes part of the Tilemsi Valley. In the 2009 census the commune had a population of 19,082.
