What is "tamgha-i-khidmat"

Tamgha-i-Khidmat or Tamgha-e-Khidmat, which translates as the medal of services, is 5th highest honour given by the Government of Pakistan to both the military and Civil Armed Forces. It is admissible to Junior Commissioned Officers, Non commissioned officers and other ranks for long meritorious or distinguished services of a non-operational nature.
