Taliglucerase alfa, commercially known as Elelyso, is a biopharmaceutical drug developed by Protalix and Pfizer. The drug, a recombinant glucocerebrosidase used to treat Gaucher’s Disease, was the first plant-made pharmaceutical to win approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
