Wikipedia
Take Note

Take Note is a grassroots movement of volunteers in Indiana, USA focused on protecting entertainers, DJs, bartenders, wait staff, and other employees from secondhand smoke. While a majority of workers in Indiana are currently protected from secondhand smoke, employees in most casinos, bars, and clubs are not protected by current laws.

The Take Note movement started in 2007 as a response to the need for equal protection for the Indiana workforce. Under Indiana’s current laws, most nightclubs, bars, and entertainment venues are not smoke-free. While recent polling shows that three out of four Hoosiers support a law in their community that would eliminate tobacco smoke from all indoor workplaces, the status quo remains that smoking in bars and nightclubs is acceptable. Take Note is a movement attempting to rally the majority in Indiana to challenge that status quo.
