Tahmeena, Tahmina, Tehmina or Tahmineh is a female character in the story, Rostam and Sohrab, part of the 10th-century Persian epic of Shahnameh. Her name is mentioned as the wife of Rostam and as the daughter of Samanganshah, the sovereign of Samangan.
Tahmina is a 1993 Azerbaijani romantic drama film. Screenplay was written by Anar Rzayev according to his novel The sixth floor of the 5-story building. Directed by Rasim Ojagov, this film is in drama genre depicting the love affair between a male (Zaur) from an affluent family and a divorced female trying to make her best to survive in a conservative society. The film is considered as one of the best Azerbaijani movies produced in 1990's. The funding for the film was provided by a Turkish businessman.
