Tabular difference

Tabular \Tab"u*lar\, a. [L. tabularis, fr. tabula a board, table. See Table.] Having the form of, or pertaining to, a table (in any of the uses of the word). Specifically:

  1. Having a flat surface; as, a tabular rock.

  2. Formed into a succession of flakes; laminated.

    Nodules . . . that are tabular and plated.

  4. Arranged in a schedule; as, tabular statistics.

  5. Derived from, or computed by, the use of tables; as, tabular right ascension.
