What is "tabaccini"

Tabaccini referred to the faction around Bruno Tabacci (Tabaccini) and Mario Baccini (Tabaccini), two leading member of the Union of Christian and Centre Democrats, a political party in Italy, before leaving it to form the White Rose. Most of their supporters did not follow them into the new party.
