Szestno

Szestno (German Seehesten) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Mrągowo, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately north of Mrągowo and east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany ( East Prussia). Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. On October 10, 1981 the local Protestant church was charged and forcefully taken over by Catholics.

The village has a population of 830.
