SyncOnSet

SyncOnSet is a web and mobile software application designed to assist TV and film production crews. By replacing the traditional production three-ring binder, SyncOnSet digitally simplifies the creative process during TV and Film production. SyncOnSet is the first product of Wymsee, Inc, an entertainment technology company founded in 2012 by Alex LoVerde (CEO), Brett Beaulieu-Jones (CTO), Jeff Impey (CMO), and Dan Stefanis.

"SyncOnSet is the industry's most advanced software for creative design departments during pre-production and production," according to CrunchBase. During pre-production Sync OnSet’s features include an auto script breakdown, a digital approval process, budgeting, revision and episodic importing, and access on the go. Features during production include photo and note sharing, permission levels, a mobile app, an activity feed and inventory tracking. Following the production process, the software generates wrap reports and creates a digital archive of production data and images. The initial product was focused on costume departments and have since expanded to other sectors including Property, Make-up, Hair, Locations and Set Decoration.

According to Tech Cocktail, “The product’s inspiration came after talking to a costume designer who explained the tedious process of keeping track of everything on set.” Since then, the Boston Business Journal reports that “the growth of the product has been steady.” SyncOnSet has been used by over 350 TV shows or feature films and clients range from USA’s “Suits” and HBO’s “Girls,” to Netflix original “House of Cards” and Warner Bros’ upcoming Johnny Depp starrer, “Black Mass.”

In the summer of 2015, the product's name was officially changed from Sync OnSet to SyncOnSet.
