Synapticula \Syn`ap*tic"u*la\, n.; pl. Synapticul[ae]. [NL., dim. from Gr. ? fastened together.] (Zo["o]l.) One of numerous calcareous processes which extend between, and unite, the adjacent septa of certain corals, especially of the fungian corals.
