Symmoracma

Symmoracma is a genus of moths of the Crambidae family. It contains only one species, Symmoracma minoralis, which is found in Indonesia ( Java, Sumbawa), Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, China and Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland.

The wingspan is about 20 mm. Adults are grey-brown, with pale markings on the forewings. The hindwings are uniform pale. Males have been observed making chirping sounds using an expandable organ at the tip of the abdomen.
