Swingtown was an American television series created by Mike Kelley as a summer replacement series for CBS. The show was a period and relationship drama about the impact of sexual and social liberation in 1970s American suburban households, with story arcs involving open marriages and key parties.

"Swingtown" is a 1977 hit song by the Steve Miller Band. It was their third and final single release from their Book of Dreams album, and became the second biggest hit from the LP.

"Swingtown" reached #17 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and spent two weeks at #13 on the Cash Box Hot 100. It also peaked at #13 on the Canadian pop chart.
