Świerzawa
Świerzawa is a town in Złotoryja County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district ( gmina) called Gmina Świerzawa. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. (For more information about the history of the region, see Silesia.)
The town lies on the Kaczawa River, approximately south of Złotoryja and west of the regional capital Wrocław.
As at 2006, the town has a population of 2,439.
