Swann may refer to:
Swann is a lunar crater that is located on the far side of the Moon, to the southeast of the prominent crater Compton. This is a heavily worn and battered formation that is now scarcely recognizable as a crater. The terrain along the rim and the interior resembles the surrounding surface, being marked by secondary craters from Compton. To the north and northeast of Swann are two younger, bowl-shaped craters, Swann A and Swann C, with sharp-edged rims that have not received significantly wear.
Swann Station, located at the corner of Henry Street and E Swann Avenue, is a bus rapid transit station in Alexandria, Virginia. It is a stop on the portion of dedicated bus-only highway along the Metroway bus rapid transit line, providing two-way service along the route. The station provides service to the central Potomac Yard and Potomac communities in Alexandria.
Swann is a Canadian drama film, released in 1996. An adaptation of the Carol Shields novel Swann: A Mystery, the film was directed by Anna Benson Gyles and written by David Young.
The film stars Brenda Fricker as Rose Hindmarch, a small town librarian whose life is significantly changed when Sarah Maloney ( Miranda Richardson), a famous author and academic, arrives in town to research a new book about the long-ago murder of local poet Mary Swann. The film's cast also includes Michael Ontkean, David Cubitt, Sean McCann and John Neville.
The film premiered as the opening gala at the 1996 Toronto International Film Festival.
