Swaddling \Swad"dling\, a. & n. from Swaddle, v.
Swaddling band, Swaddling cloth, or Swaddling clout, a band or cloth wrapped round an infant, especially round a newborn infant.
Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes,
lying in a manger.
