"Superscope" was announced in February 2014 as the first new music from electronic musician Clark since the release of Iradelphic and Fantasm Planes in 2012. Clark has described the release, saying he wanted to create music "that had subtle depth and longevity but were simple and hooky enough to work on the dancefloor."
