Superfluousness
Superfluous \Su*per"flu*ous\, a. [L. superfluus overflowing;
super over, above + fluere to flow. See Super-, and
Fluent.]
More than is wanted or is sufficient; rendered unnecessary by
superabundance; unnecessary; useless; excessive; as, a
superfluous price.
