Sturgeon Lake (Ontario)

Sturgeon Lake is a lake in the Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway. The lake is Y shaped and has the communities of Fenelon Falls, Lindsay, Sturgeon Point and Bobcaygeon at the north-west, south, central and north-east points of the Y respectively. The lake is approximately from the southern to the north-eastern extremes, the longer axis.

Sturgeon Lake (Alberta)

Sturgeon Lake is a lake in north-western Alberta, Canada. It has a total area of and a maximum depth of . It is located in the hydrographic basin of the Little Smoky River at an elevation of 685 m, 20 km west of the town of Valleyview, along Highway 43.

Young's Point Provincial Park is located on the northern shore of the lake, and Williamson Provincial Park lies on the southern shore. The Sturgeon Lake First Nations reserve of the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation is established on the southern shore. The hamlet of Sturgeon Heights is located at the western tip of the lake.

Just near Williamson Provincial Park is the Sturgeon Lake Campground. Sturgeon Lake Campground is a co-operative effort between M. Isley Enterprises Inc. and the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation. It has been recently re-energized with all new washroom facilities, 50 power and water sites, 54 non-serviced sites, a group campsite, a brand new store and a playground for the kids. The campground is also the site of a giant teepee with beautiful artwork emblazoned on its sides. It is also the site of Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation Pow Wow Arbour. The arbour is where the ceremonial dances of the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation are performed.

The waters of the lake are drained into the Little Smoky River through the long Sturgeon Creek.

Despite the name, the lake doesn't host any Sturgeon fish.

Sturgeon Lake is a lake located south of Tomiko and north-east of Highway 11 / Trans-Canada Highway in the Nipissing District of northeastern Ontario, Canada. The lake flows west through a channel into Little Tomiko Lake. The Ontario Northland Railway line from North Bay to Cochrane crosses that channel.

Sturgeon Lake (Hayes Watershed – Kenora District, Ontario)

Sturgeon Lake is a long, thin lake located in the Kenora District of Northwestern Ontario, Canada, along the Manitoba-Ontario border from Hudson Bay and from the Manitoba border.

The Sturgeon River flows north-west into and out of the lake, and eventually flows into Hudson Bay via the Hayes River.

Sturgeon Lake is a lake northwest of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. The bordering Sturgeon Lake First Nation takes its name from the lake. The Sturgeon River flows out of the lake eventually joining the North Saskatchewan River a short distance west of Prince Albert.

The lake hosts a regional park with camping and swimming. It is a small, narrow body of water situated in the transition zone between the aspen parkland and boreal forest biomes. Sturgeon Lake is home to several species of fish including Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike, Yellow perch and Walleye. While not a deep lake, it still suffices for some watersports.
