Stolberg is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has a long history as an industrial town and belongs to the district Aachen and the lower district court of Eschweiler.

It is situated in the southern part of the Harz mountains, about west of Sangerhausen, and northeast of Nordhausen. Since 1 September 2010, it has been part of the municipality of Südharz.
Stolberg is a German detective television series, starring Düsseldorf chief inspector Martin Stolberg. The series is more serious and less flashy than other contemporary German detective series.
