Step by Step is an American television sitcom that aired for seven seasons, originally running on ABC as part of its TGIF Friday night lineup from September 20, 1991, to August 15, 1997, and then moved to CBS where it aired from September 19, 1997 to June 26, 1998. The series starred Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers as two single parents (each with three children), who spontaneously get married after meeting one another during a vacation, resulting in the two of them becoming the heads of a large blended family.
Step by Step is the third studio album, and fourth album overall, by American boy band New Kids on the Block, released in June 1990 via Columbia Records.
"Step by Step" is the biggest-selling hit single from New Kids on the Block. The lead vocals were sung by Jordan Knight. Danny Wood sang "Step 1", Donnie Wahlberg sang "Step 2", Jordan Knight sang "Step 3", Joey McIntyre sang "Step 4", and Jonathan Knight sang "Step 5."
Written by Maurice Starr, it was a huge worldwide hit, selling over 10 million copies worldwide, making it one of the biggest selling singles of 1990. It was the first single from the album of the same name, released on May 10, 1990. The song spent three weeks at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and was eventually certified platinum; it also spent two weeks at #1 in the Canadian Singles Chart, in total "Step by Step" spent five weeks at #1 in the North American charts. "Step by Step" is a song written and originally recorded by singer Annie Lennox, later a cross over pop hit by R&B/pop singer Whitney Houston. The song served as the second single from Houston's 1996 soundtrack album, The Preacher's Wife. Lennox's recording originally appeared as the B-side to her 1992 single " Precious" Largely, Houston's version replaces Lennox's verses with new lyrics and omits portions from the bridge as well. Annie Lennox also provides background vocals in Houston's rendition.

Step by Step is the seventh studio album by country artist Eddie Rabbitt. It was originally released in 1981 under the Elektra Records label but the rights to the album were later sold to Liberty Records. The album continued the crossover success established in the singer's two previous albums. Three singles were produced including the title track, which went to number one on country charts and reached the top 5 on both the Adult Contemporary and Billboard 100 charts. "Someone Could Lose a Heart Tonight" also reached number one on country charts and made the top 15 on the other two. "I Don't Know Where to Start" peaked at two and nine on the country and adult contemporary charts, respectively.
