Startalk, stylized as Startalk: The Only Showbiz Authority and formerly Startalk TX was a weekly entertainment news and talk show in the Philippines. It premiered on October 8, 1995, and was the longest-running weekly entertainment news and talk show in Philippine television started airing Sunday afternoons then transitioned to Saturday on GMA Network and simulcast over Super Radyo DZBB. After 2 decades of bringing showbiz-oriented commentary news, the show officially ended on September 12, 2015, which its ending early speculated on tabloids. The show will be replaced by the new comedy-oriented talk show CelebriTV a week later, September 19.
StarTalk is a podcast on space, science, and popular culture hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, with various comic and celebrity co-hosts and frequent guests from the worlds of science and entertainment. Past co-hosts have included Colin Jost, Lynne Koplitz, Leighann Lord, Eugene Mirman, Chuck Nice, John Oliver, and Kristen Schaal. Guests have included astronaut Buzz Aldrin, actor Morgan Freeman, George Takei, comedian Joan Rivers, Arianna Huffington, Richard Dawkins and writer Mary Roach. StarTalk has a segment called Cosmic Queries, in which listeners send in questions about the universe to be answered on the show.
In May 2014, Rolling Stone ranked StarTalk at number 13 on its list of "The 20 Best Comedy Podcasts Right Now".
On February 29, 2016, it was announced that there would be a spinoff podcast, StarTalk All-Stars, whose rotating hosts will be former StarTalk guests. In addition, the regular StarTalk comedy co-hosts will appear.

STARTALK is a language education program at the University of Maryland, created under the National Security Language Initiative, a federal program which seeks to expand the teaching of strategically important languages in the United States. Languages taught under the STARTALK program include Arabic, Chinese, Dari, Hindi, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu. On July 29, 2015, it was announced that StarTalk was renewed for a second season, starting October 25, 2015, with Bill Clinton as the first guest.
