Stařeč (German Startsch) is a small town ( městys) in Třebíč District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The town covers an area of , and has a population of 1,625 (as at 2007).
Stařeč lies approximately south-west of Třebíč, south-east of Jihlava, and south-east of Prague.
