Stalk-eyed
Stalk-eyed \Stalk"-eyed`\ (st[add]k"[imac]d`), a. (Zo["o]l.) Having the eyes raised on a stalk, or peduncle; -- opposed to sessile-eyed. Said especially of podophthalmous crustaceans.
