(Med.) The quinsy. See Quinsy. [Obs.]

(Bot.) A European perennial herb ( Asperula cynanchica) with narrowly linear whorled leaves; -- formerly thought to cure the quinsy. Also called quincewort.
Squinancy berries, black currants; -- so called because used to cure the quinsy.
