Sprucely

Spruce \Spruce\ (spr[udd]s), a. [Compar. Sprucer (spr[udd]"s[~e]r); superl. Sprucest (spr[udd]"s[e^]st).] [Perhaps fr. spruce a sort of leather from Prussia, which was an article of finery. See Spruce, n.]
