Spintherobolus is a genus of characins endemic to Brazil, with four currently recognized species:

- Spintherobolus broccae G. S. Myers, 1925
- Spintherobolus leptoura S. H. Weitzman & L. R. Malabarba, 1999
- Spintherobolus papilliferus C. H. Eigenmann, 1911
