Soliera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about northwest of Bologna and about north of Modena. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 14,056 and an area of .
The municipality of Soliera contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Sozzigalli, Castello di Sozzigalli, Secchia, Limidi, and Appalto.
