Soleja/Solaija is a Pakistani/ Indian surname of many of Indian descent. Most people with the name Soleja/Solaija have immigrated to the state of Uttar Pradesh, India and to Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan during the independence in 1947. Today, many Solejas/Solaijas live in India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States (specifically El Paso), although fairly large sections can be found in Kanpur, Karachi, El Paso, and Dallas. Soleja's were high-ranking members of Mughal Empire.
