Sivantos Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hearing aids. They serve hearing care professionals in more than 120 countries, offering hearing aids branded Signia, Siemens, Audio Service, Rexton and A&M. Complementary accessories, fitting software, smartphone apps and diagnostics workflow solutions are also part of their portfolio.

Sivantos Group employs about 5,000 people in more than 20 countries. The Sivantos affiliates in the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe are part of the group, as are US retailer HearUSA, Audio Service, the specialist for customized solutions, and audibene, the largest internet hearing care multi-vendor platform in Europe.

The origins of Sivantos Group go back to 1878, when Werner von Siemens invented a telephone receiver that made it considerably easier for the hearing impaired to follow conversations.

Development has long been a top priority and this is why Sivantos Group can claim to have achieved many “world’s firsts” in hearing aid history, including the first hearing aid featuring a wireless system. In 2012, corporate developers received the German Future Prize (Deutscher Zukunftspreis) for developing a binaural hearing system that enables hearing aids in both ears to wirelessly communicate with each other. The latest world’s first were smart hearing aids that provide hearing aid wearers with better speech recognition in cocktail-party situations than people with normal hearing.

In fiscal year 14/15 today’s Sivantos Group sold more than three million hearing aids. In the same year, Sivantos Group generated revenue of € 835 million on pro-forma basis and adjusted EBITDA of € 206 million(Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization).

Sivantos Group was spun off from Siemens Audiology Solutions after Siemens AG sold the company to EQT VI and Santo Holding GmbH in 2015.
