Sivabalan.K.C is a agricultural extension researcher from Tamil Nadu, India. Dr. K.C.Siva balan has ten years of qualitative experience across wide gamut of functions including corporate agri business manager, college level teaching, academic activities and research. Recipient of ‘Young scientist’ award in 2015, he also developed ‘MITRA’ Mobile application for soil and crop management for small farmers in Tamil Nadu. Presently he is indulging in research of drone technology in agricultural operations. He is the content coordinator for ‘MITRA’ mobile whatsapp group for Farmers Producer Organization (FPOs). He was honored with International best research work award for his work in vegetable value chain management at regional symposium at Bangkok, Thailand in 2014. He has research publications about mobile agro market advisory services, ICT for rural development and contemporary agricultural issues published in International and national level journals and magazines. He hails from Palani, Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu.
