Sinapis is a genus of plants in the family Brassicaceae. , five species are recognised by The Plant List:

  • Sinapis alba L. – white mustard
  • Sinapis allionii Jacq.
  • Sinapis arvensis L.
  • Sinapis circinata Desf.
  • Sinapis flexuosa Poir.

The leaves are used extensively in some cultures' cooking, including in North Indian cuisine. It is also one of the varieties of horta or greens known as vrouves in Greek cuisine, boiled and served with olive oil and lemon.
