What is "silaiyezhupathu"

Silaiyezhupathu is a Tamil-language work by the poet Kambar. It was written to praise the Pallavan king Karunakara Tondaiman, the prime minister and the undaunted general of Kulottunga Chola I. He had sacked Lanka and Kalinga to show his loyalty to his king. He later served as prime minister to Vikrama Chola, the son of Kulottunga Chola I.
