What is "sidicini"

The Sidicini (in ancient Greek Σιδικῖνοι) were one of the Italic peoples of ancient Italy, who had their capital at Teanum Sidicinum (modern day Teano.) Their territory extended northward from their capital of Teano, up the valley of the river Liri , which dominates the region up to Fregellae, their territory was approximately 3000 km total. They were neighbors of the Samnites and Campanians. They were allies of the Ausoni and Aurunci. Their language was a part of the Osco-Umbrian linguistic family.
