Siavi

Siavi (, also Romanized as Sīāvī) is a village in Hend Khaleh Rural District, Tulem District, Sowme'eh Sara County, Gilan Province, Iran. Also, there is a village in KPK province, Nizampur region of Nowhshera District by the same name.

The Irani Siavi clan is one of the few native Pashto speaking clans of Iran, likely signifying that they migrated from southern areas of what is now Afghanistan. At the 2006 census, its population was 138, in 36 families.

Currently mainly in Khyberpukhtoonwa province in Pakistan, many of the clan members have migrated and settled in the Nizampur area of Nowshera District. Their population estimated to be around 1000 strong. They have maintained their separate identity although many a time they also identify with the Khattak Tribe of Pushtoons, likely due to intermarriage and sociocultural similarities.
